This roof latch assembly features a spring loaded mechanism that keeps the latch firmly locked into place. On the top, the exterior latch lever is recessed and positioned to prevent the lever from being snagged from any object that could catch it and open the roof latch. For the bottom interior side, the lever used to open the latch is large and easy to pull to help in a quick exit from the vehicle.
