Get your drivability and tracking back: When you lift your truck you affect caster and camber. SPC’s arms have +2° of caster built into them. Using its patented ball joint design, the arm will get you 0° to +4° of caster and ±2° of camber. This adjustability allows you to put your alignment angles back to specification.
Get your tire where you want it in the wheel well: Use adjustment in the control arm and on the OE lower cams to maximize alignment angles and move oversized tires forward in the wheel well to minimize or avoid fender trimming.

Details
The True Travel Dynamics uniball upper control arms (UCAs) are stronger than stock arms and are 100% bolt-on. Our boxed design increases the overall strength of the arm, and it utilizes 1″ uniballs instead of ball joints for more articulation. Our stainless steel tapered misalignment spacers allow you to bolt them to the factory spindle.
Adding even more to the strength and durability of our UCAs is how they mount to the factory frame. We use 3/4″ heim joints (or rod ends) with custom stainless steel spacers instead of bushings so there is no deflection.
These upper control arms are perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their Tacoma, FJ, 4Runner, or Lexus GX 470 and GX 460 and it designed to work with stock, leveled or lifted trucks, 2WD or 4WD.

Overview:
ICON Vehicle Dynamics has developed a tubular uniball upper control arm system for the 2005+ Toyota Tacoma 2wd & 4wd trucks. Weak OEM ball joints present problems by limiting suspension travel, especially when using our 2.5” VS Series performance coil-over shocks. Using 1” PTFE Lined Uniballs combined with our 17-4 Stainless Taper Pin Adapters increases the upper arms misalignment, allowing for smooth and clean wheel travel without worrying about factory ball joint bind.
The Toyota Tacoma Trucks have so much to gain when you look at the over all wheel travel and performance that is unused by the manufacturer. -UCA's are designed with added caster to aid in retaining factory alignment specs when aftermarket lift kits are installed. This reduces the darting or wandering in the vehicle's steering when 2.5"-3" lift kits are installed.
-CNC machined tapered spindle adapters convert the factory ball joint to a 1" uniball for added component strength & maximum wheel travel.
-TOTAL CHAOS includes 1" I.D. uniballs that feature a heat treated stainless steel ball & heat treated stainless steel race for maximum corrosion resistance and component longevity. These uniball's also features a military grade PTFE woven fabric liner that helps prevent noise.
-Custom profile upper and lower hi-misalignment spacers maximize droop wheel travel and are machined from heat treated 17-4 stainless steel.
-Upper control arms combined with extended length coil over shocks will allow for up to 1" of additional wheel travel.
-Urethane bushings reduce bushing deflection compared to stock rubber bushings.
-Control arm pivots include zerk fittings to grease the urethane bushings & inner sleeves without disassembly.
